The Post About The Rabbit Recommends v.59

Each weekend, I post a readable, a watchable, and a listenable of which I'm fond. You can choose what happens next. Earlier volumes can be found here.

Read

One of my favorite authors is Beth Moore. She's smart. A well-researched writer who digs into the Bible with the sharpest shovel she can find. And she's imperfect. She highlights her vulnerabilities and uses them as teaching tools. And she's funny. So often Bible scholars are the opposite of that, as if a sense of humor is something God wouldn't actually have; when a playpus is proof of that. Her blog provides regular doses of these valuable characteristics.

Watch

Good Hair is a documentary by Chris Rock about black Americans and the world of hair. I laughed from beginning to end and came to two conclusions. One - I should stop complaining about my perms in the 80's. Two - black don't crack.

Listen

P.S. We have a winner in the Yabba-Dabba-Doosie Giveaway! The first winners are The Smurfs and The Jetsons - most beloved by Rabbit Readers.

The actual prize winner is...

  1. I loved Good Hair! It was my boyfriend's idea to go see it and I didn't really want to, but I ended up loving it and he that it was so-so.

I have to check out Matt Morris. I was wondering who sang with Justin Timberlake at the benefit. I'm so excited to hear his other songs!! Thanks for the recommendations!
