ReplyDeleteHrmmm well I listen to a lot of Frank Sinatra - so I say anything of his would be amazing. It doesn't matter what mood you're in - the man knows just what to say.
ReplyDeleteA few others that I'm loving on at the moment - James Morrison (Songs for You, Truths for Me), Mae (Destination: Beautiful), and The Kooks (Inside In/Inside Out).
I'm a rabbit chaser.
ReplyDelete. . . and I follow you on Twitter. You're one of the few reasons I made that account. The others are called - Nick, Joe, and Kevin.
ReplyDeleteHow could Hettle not be a follower? Free Music.. count me in....Picking one Favoite is so hard, but I'll go Old School, Stevie Wonder, Songs In The Key of Life:)
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite albums is from Norah Jones. She completly mellows me out when I'm frazzled. Her album, Come away with me is what I have. Even when I was preggo with Katy, I listened to it all the time and after she was born, it was an instant soother while we were in the car.
ReplyDeleteOh and I also became a follower of your blog today.

Does it have to be an artist? Can it be a musical/soundtrack? If so, my favorite is Phantom of the Opera.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually listen to albums, instead I listen to individual songs.
danunepthys(at)hotmail(dot)com
I'm with Jaqueline on this one, and would have to say that My Chemical Romance - Black Parade tops my list. Honorable mention goes to Dar Williams - the Honesty Room because everyone needs to listen to hippie folk music every now and again.

It feels strange in my mouth.
Here are a few I listen to often:
ReplyDeleteLincoln Brewster: Lincoln Brewster
Before he went to Praise and Worship, he rocked. A fun album.
Genesis: Duke
A nice bridge from their art rock roots to more pop-oriented fare. Some familiar tunes here, too.
U2: Live Under a Blood Read Sky
U2 live. 'nuff said.
K.T. Tunstall: Eye to the telescope
Good pop.
Joe Jackson: Greatest Hits
A greatest hits album may be cheating, but he's so diverse,it's the only real way to get an idea of what he's all about.
DeGarmo & Key: To Extremes
Jesus rocks.
Volcano by Edie Brickell
