Mary Hunt's motto is "bringing dignity to the art of living below your means." I'll admit that I live almost exactly at my mean elevation and many folks I know wouldn't describe me as dignified. So a book that promises some balance and actually delivers is a God-send. She covers every topic from cleaning, groceries, laundry to travel. I skipped the chapters on babies and pets because I'm pretty sure they'll bleed you dry.

My favorite Bethany Dillon song is the "whore song" called "You Are On Our Side." Not your typical ode to the Heavenly Father, but it's powerful. I'm also fond of this acoustic rendition of "Beautiful" regarding the seemingly endless struggle against self-perception. No matter what you think, you are hot.
