The Post About a Rainbow Brite Library

Sunday afternoons are a dangerous time in the Rabbit household.

I can wake up from a nap and decide to paint a room. Suddenly, I find myself in a hardware store grabbing blue tape and fuzzy rollers.

I have to fight that impulsive girl.

She's a HUGE pain.

She tried to rear her ugly head roday, but I fought her off with a stick.

Unfortunately, it was a stick of gum and I found myself in the middle of this:

Library for Dinner - 24/365

She wanted me to paint the walls, but I compromised by painting some shelves. With books.

Dewey Decimal Rainbow
Dewey Decimal is rolling over in his grave.

So how do you display your books?

  1. I see your face cube on the bottom shelf! You have too many books, by the way.

  5. Adorable! Although I must admit I'm more of a Dewey girl. Mine are sorted alphabetically by author by genre.

  6. WAI: I'm very impressed - that's how a good reader SHOULD organize her books.

  7. Okay, I think that is a totally cool thing to have done with your books! I'll have to keep that in mind when I finally get our main bookcases organized. Now I had been reading another post of yours before coming here. . .

  8. c: Don't think that pile of books didn't sit on the dining room table for much longer than necessary. ADD doesn't get the house clean.
