The whatsit on my toilet broke. It's the thingamajig in the tank that pulls on the doohickey that makes the water go away and come back.
And I fixed it. Because I'm amazing.
Although it DID take consultations with my father and Walter at Lowe's.
How much do I love those two guys? If Walter wasn't collecting social security and eating dinner every day at 4:30pm, then this post would be an engagement announcement.
So in light of my impressive accomplishment this week, I've decided to give away a $40 Lowe's Gift Card.

The nearest Lowe's is 45 miles from here, so when I go, I go for extend periods of time. I would like to change out my ceiling fan and add one to my bedroom. Great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteRight not nothing! But we just bought a house that we close on this week that is a foreclosure. It has NO kitchen! So we will definitely be needing to be to Lowe's to buy Kraftmaid cabinets, lighting, flooring, appliances, etc!!!

ReplyDeleteI would finish up our front door. We had to completely replace our front door, and it still lacks trim, a storm door, etc. Thanks for this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI fixed the same thing last week. Only when I said, "excuse me, could you tell me where the fill tanks are" the fella relied, "yes sir" then he apologized and said he'd never had a woman ask for that before. I found a video on YouTube that helped me. I was very proud of my work.
ReplyDeleteIf I had $40, I'd fix my door knobs. Hope there's a YouTube video for that as well.

ReplyDeleteI would love to replace the ceiling fan in my bedroom as it is not my style ... but I would also like to put up a fan in my son's room and it would be something cool. (as in neat-o, awesome or swell) Sometime I do use "cool" when I know nothing about a topic someone is talking about because I want to act as if I do know-it-all. In a fashion sense that word if very convenient for me because I generally don't care about what is "in".
ReplyDeleteId like to fix the paint on the walls, it is chipped all over.

ReplyDeleteI would fix up my crawl space. I pretty much have a full basement except for an area under one room that juts out from the rest of the house. They should have just poured a concrete floor to it and vented it into the basement. However, with a dirt floor, I get chipmonks, mice, and all sorts of things rumbling around under that room creating all kinds of a mess. Ah, hindsight!
